Who We Are

Our Mission...

Our mission at Bell Chapel is to represent Jesus Christ to the world, and to reconcile the world to him. [2 Corinthians 5:11-21.]

Our Vision...

Our vision is to provide ministry and care to every generation, in every circumstance. [Deuteronomy 10:17-18.]

We pursue our mission and vision by using a very simple philosophy. There are five things that we strive to do as a church, both individually and as a whole. These five things are:

Worship   Connect   Serve   Reach   Grow

These five points are rooted in Scripture, and have been practiced by Christians throughout the centuries. As we continue to follow Jesus, we continue to emphasize these five points as his disciples…

We offer two services each weekend to get together and to worship God. We also worship God individually, understanding that the way we live in response to God’s grace is in itself an act of worship. [Romans 12:1.]

Spiritual community has always been an essential component of God’s plan for his people. Developing meaningful connections with one another helps us to stay faithful to God’s call, and enables us to mutually benefit each other as we live out our faith in Christ. [Acts 2:41-47.]

In all that we do, we strive to follow the example which has been shown to us by the Lord Jesus Christ. We know, according to Jesus himself, that the example he has set for us is one of service. Jesus, the Son of Man, came not to be served, but to serve. There are numerous opportunities and multiple ministries that enable us to do just that here at Bell Chapel. [Mark 10:45.]

Another facet of our Christian mandate is to reach out to those with any and all kinds of physical, emotional, or spiritual needs. We seek to meet those needs and to bring people into a meaningful and life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. [Matthew 28:18-20.]

The Christian life is an ongoing process in which we are continually being refined into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. We worship God, we connect with him and with other believers, we serve in various ministries, and we reach out to others, all in an effort to become more and more like Jesus. There are a host of other ways (prayer and study to name a few) that aid us in this process.
[Romans 12:2.]
